Edward’s Nursery for Lorinska

We once again joined forces with Pottery Barn Kids Australia to create another magical room… Edward’s Nursery for Lorinska.

The PBK design team started working on the space prior to Edward’s arrival earth-side, so the initial concept included a gender neutral, white and beige colour palette. They went with a timeless and elegant look, a signature of Pottery Barn.

However, once he was born, Lorinska desperately wanted add to some blue. With this in mind, we landed on a traditional style diamond pattern wallpaper that had some extra pretty detail, in blue and white. The PBK team then added more blue details into the space with soft furnishings and decor.

The stunning room was recently painted white, and was a blank canvas, ready for us to work some magic. It features high ceilings and some incredible details in keeping with the era of home, including a fire place, timber floor boards, high skirting boards, a gorgeous door and panelling on the ceiling.

The furniture was delivered and assembled. The wallpaper was installed. Additionally, we had a beautiful sheer and white roller blind installed. PBK elevated the look with soft furnishings and decor including a large rug, blankets, cushion, comforter, faux olive tree, mirror, basket, toys, books and ornaments.
